A history of history in full nature

In the heart of Monfero, where the landscape and tradition are intertwined in harmony, the Church of Santa Xiá de Xestoso.

This 18th century temple, which fuses the baroque with neoclassical details, is a heritage jewel that invites you to discover the authentic essence of the Eume region.

Its walls enchanted and painted white, framed by granite masonry, reflect the serenity of the environment, while its sword with a side staircase and the small cemetery that accompanies it transport us to past times. The facade includes a decorative rosette similar to that of the Monastery of Monfero. A crossroads presides over access, reminding us that here, spirituality and history flow like the Eume River itself.

Visiting Santa Xiá is more than a stop along the way: it is an invitation to immerse yourself in tranquility, to feel the authenticity of a destination that is not repeated, but transforms with each visit.
