A tour between the forest and the heights

Also known as the two Altos do Fortandión path, this route offers one of the most impressive views of the Eume Canyon and its reservoir.

The road begins in the old Ventureira power plant, a starting point for a demanding climb that crosses lush forests and follows the course of the Teixido Rego. The reward comes in the viewpoint of Teixido, where the landscape opens before our eyes with a spectacular panoramic view of the Eume river embedded between mountains.

A challenge for the most adventurous.

With a length of 8 km (round trip) and a considerable slope, this route is of high difficulty and not suitable for all audiences, since it has demanding sections and potentially dangerous areas. Although the route is not approved, it is marked with blue arrows and marks that facilitate orientation and reduce the risk of getting lost.

Wild nature and absolute disconnection.

Access to the route requires private transport, although the space to park is limited. However, the experience of traveling this path deserves the effort: the sound of the river, the lush vegetation and the impressive views turn this path into an unforgettable adventure for those who seek strong emotions and direct contact with the wildest nature.
